2010 Snowfall Amounts

The amount of snow that many cities in the U.S. have recieved this winter has been catastrophic. There have been a large number of power outages, school closings, cancellation of postal services, and even deaths. On February 5th in Cleveland Ohio, a 21 year old man unfortunately lost his life when the car he was driving slid into the path of a snowplow. The week before, an elderly couple with alzheimer's disease froze to death after locking themselves out of the house. I recommend that everyone take extra precautions regarding the safety of their pets and loved ones during this cold season. Maybe it's time to use some of grandma's home remedies like chicken noodle soup to share with the neighbors. Especially those that live down south. Surprisingly, many southern cities have experienced seasonal snowfall totals that outweigh some up north! I've spoken with family members in Jackson,Tennessee that have been unable to go to work, school, and even church because of the amount of snow that has fallen this winter.
